Luke and I ended up on the couch this morning at 5:15am after Jenny held him in bed from 3:30am until I finally took him out. We slept until 6:30am and we went out onto the deck and I spent some time with the Lord while Luke crawled around the deck area.

The boys were awake by about 6am and Jenny stayed with them in our room while I sat out on the balcony and enjoyed some time with the Lord. It was awesome. Later, we went out on the beach and we had a great time- we played in the sand, walked down and [...]

The last three or four days have certainly been a whirlwind. In addition to the normal day to day craziness, Jenny and I have been attempting to get ready to go to the beach for our vacation with Jenny’s family. On top of that, I participated in one funeral already this week and have another [...]

I can’t imagine being any more blessed than I am! I am so thankful to God to have the family I have. I have a beautiful wife who loves me, supports me, makes me laugh, and is even crazy enough to think I’m handsome as well! God has also blessed me with [...]

Yesterday Jenny and I received an eagerly anticipated phone call. Dr. Jaffe called to tell us that Luke’s MRI was completely normal! While we still don’t know the reason for the 3 seizures, we do know that the CT scan, sleep-deprived EEG, and sedated MRI all showed nothing! What this means for [...]

As I reflect upon my trip to El Salvador, there are several lessons I have learned. Some are more profound than others.
There still are MANY people hungry for the Word of God!
God loves to hear prayers in Spanish just as much as He does an English prayer.
Just because you didn’t get sick [...]
