While there are still many things that we don’t know about our time in Perú, including what town we’ll live in, we do know that the area is BREATHTAKING!
The picture above is shot from Huaraz and the mountain in the background is the mountain, Huascarán. This is the highest peak in Perú and is [...]

A little while ago I discovered a website that was really interesting to me. And, tonight, while Jenny and the boys were out giving me some time to rest my throat, I spent some time looking around the site. It is unbelievable! And the whole site is dedicated Bolivia, and more specifically, Santa Cruz. On [...]

Okay, so I already posted that I had been hurting earlier this morning. I now know why. About the time Jenny and the kids got home, I tasted blood (not a lot) and called the doctor who asked me to come in right away. She discovered one of my scabs had come off prematurely (I [...]

Yikes, the doctor had told me that yesterday would be the worst day, but wow, I had hopes she was wrong. Last night was especially painful but I’m much better now. Wow, I’m hoping the worst is behind me.
On another front, I have been saddened by the fact that I’ve had to miss Spiritual Emphasis [...]

It’s been a couple of days since my surgery and everything is still going fine. The doctor has called twice a day since I had surgery to check on me. I feel like I’m doing well and that I’m coming along fine. I’m thankful for so many people who have prayed for me.

I have had my tonsils removed and I’m home and on the mend. I’m not in much pain (I have some good drugs!) and other than feeling really weird in my throat, I’m doing fine. Thank you so for praying for me. Please pray that I recover completely and quickly.

I don’t make it my custom to make predictions, but with my tonsillectomy coming up in a few hours, I can’t help but think I know how the next few days is going to go…
My buddy sent me this video a while ago and I thought it was hilarious. It’s a [...]

Jenny brought a cake to school and had everyone on the tarraza to sing happy birthday to me. And then tonight after I got back from my Doctor’s appointment, she had the other two families on our street over and had made me a surprise ice cream cake- my favorite! My wife is a sweet [...]
